How big does a Bulldog get?

An adult male Bulldog usually weighs 45–55 lb (20–25 kg) and an adult female 40–50 lb (18–23 kg). The English Bulldog standard gives about 50 lb for males and 40 lb for females. Bulldogs are heavy for their size, so watch body shape rather than the scale alone.

When is a Bulldog fully grown?

As a medium breed, a Bulldog typically reaches its adult weight at about 14 months. Height usually finishes first; chest and muscle keep filling out for a while after.
